First Sunday in Advent- Hope

Today is the first Sunday of Advent. Advent takes place during the four weeks before Christmas each year and is a celebration of the coming of Jesus Christ. The word Advent means the arrival or coming of an important person. Our hope belongs in the promise and character of God. He sent his Son. He is sending His Son again. May this advent season be one of joy and meaning as we put our HOPE and faith in Jesus Christ, who was, and is, and is to come.
