Each week, we spotlight a student or group that has shown what it means to be a servant, scholar, or disciple around CAK's campus or within our community. This week we are spotlighting senior, Elizabeth Ashley!
Elizabeth is an excellent student who truly excels in every way, but most remarkably, Christ shines so brightly in her. She is beyond kind to others, always helping where she can. She gives 100% in every class, displays incredible integrity, is a friend to everyone, encourages others, and always has a positive attitude. Some specific examples are that Elizabeth stays after class to help straighten up the classrooms, throw away trash, push in chairs, and thank teachers for teaching her. Each and every day, she thanks those working in the cafeteria and tells them she hopes they have a good day. I often hear her check in with students and ask how their day is going. She is always watching and looking for ways she can encourage or help others each day. She is an absolute joy, and she is a blessing to our school! Way to go, Warrior!
Congratulations to CAK Sophomore, Blye Allen! She was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA! Blye wants to use her platform to raise awareness about teen mental health. She will compete in Miss Teen USA later this year. Way to go, Warrior!
Each week, we spotlight a student or group that has shown what it means to be a servant, scholar, or disciple around CAK's campus or within our community. This week we are spotlighting the high school students that are Bible Study leaders in the middle school.
Our Middle School Bible Study leaders are comprised of High Schoolers who have dedicated their late start Wednesdays all year to leading our middle school students in bible study. They continually pour life and truth into these students through relationships, fellowship, and digging into the Word together. These high school leaders spend hours preparing lessons so that our middle schoolers will be able to walk in truth throughout their middle school years. Our bible study leaders walk with our middle school students through a 3-year program beginning their freshman year leading our 6th graders all the way through their 8th-grade year. Thank you MS Bible Study Leaders for living out your faith so well, and leading other students to do the same.
The mission of Christian Academy of Knoxville is to partner with Christian families to provide a comprehensive college preparatory education from a biblical worldview in a Christ-centered environment.
