Alumni

Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior

If you ever attended CAK, you will always be part of the CAK family. There is nothing better than welcoming our alumni back on campus, whether you’re visiting, speaking to students, cheering on the Warriors, or now walking the halls as a parent.

We are especially grateful for the many alumni who have returned with their own children, continuing the legacy and entrusting the next generation to the place that helped shape them.

There are many ways to stay connected with one another and with Christian Academy of Knoxville. We would love to welcome you back. Reach out to our Admissions team for more information about getting involved or exploring CAK for your family.

Alumni Coordinator

Brook Park may be new to her role as Alumni Coordinator, but she’s no stranger to CAK. After teaching in Dallas, Prague, and College Station for 11 years, Brook took time off to raise her family before joining CAK over three years ago as the Middle School Counselor.

Brook’s deep ties to the Warrior community run generations deep, her husband and his three siblings graduated from CAK, her mother-in-law worked here for years, and her father-in-law once served as Board President. “Although I’m originally from Texas, CAK has felt like home since the moment I started working here,” Brook shares. “I’m excited to build more relationships with CAK Alumni, whether they live in Knoxville or Tokyo!”

Brook and her husband, Daniel, a CAK graduate, Clemson alum, and current President-Elect for East Tennessee Realtors, have four children. Kinley (8th grade) is involved in Worship Band, cheer, lacrosse, and musical theater. Mila (6th grade) cheers on the Varsity squad, performs in the musical, and plans to play lacrosse. Rhys (4th grade) enjoys competitive soccer, swimming, and basketball, and Shaun (2nd grade, AL Lotts) loves soccer and swimming. The Park family attends Fellowship Church.

If you would like to contact Brook, you can email her at bpark@cakmail.org

Director of Grandparent Relations & Events

CAK is excited to welcome Lauren Phillips as our new part-time Director of Grandparent Relations and Events. Originally from Alabama, Lauren is a graduate of Samford University and holds a Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.

For the past decade, Lauren has devoted her time to raising her three children, and she’s now thrilled to serve the CAK community in a new way. She is especially excited to launch the Legacy Warriors Initiative, which will strengthen connections with CAK’s wonderful grandparents. Lauren is also leading the planning for CAK’s upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration, a time to honor our heritage, celebrate God’s faithfulness, and look ahead to the future.

Lauren’s husband, Devin, serves as the Pastor of Care and Formation at Christ Fellowship. They have three children at CAK: James (4th grade), Mary Haisten (4th grade), and Ella (1st grade).
