About the WPA
The Warrior Parent Association (WPA) is a great place for parents or grandparents of CAK students to connect, get involved, and build community. One of the primary goals of the WPA is to connect parent volunteers to their area of service, which matches their passions and God-given gifts.
Some activities of the WPA include:
Senior events committee
Used Uniform Sale
Serving teachers and staff
The WPA theme verse is 1 Corinthians 12: 4-7:
"There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person. The evidence of the Spirit's presence is given to each person for the common good of everyone."
This year's festival will be held on Friday, October 17th, from 4-7 pm, right before CAK's Homecoming football game. Join us for an afternoon packed with fun - games, inflatables, jazzy jars, the Hat Buffet, cake walk, DJ, silent auction, food trucks, and so much more! After the festival, head over to the stadiums to cheer on the Warriors as they take on Grace Christian Academy.
If you're a grandparent or have a grandparent in your life who would like to be involved with CAK, we hope you'll join us at the inaugural meeting of the Legacy Warriors Grandparents Association.
The meeting will be held at 10 am on October 24th in the Christian Life Center on the CAK campus.
