Building His Masterpiece

The great commission of all Christians is to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matt 28:16). This campaign is about better preparing our students and families to fulfill that commission. To prepare our students to be ‘life-ready' and to experience all that our Heavenly Father has to offer those who know him!

About the Campaign

In November 2020, CAK embarked on the Building His Masterpiece capital campaign based upon Ephesians 2:10. Our initial goal of $6.84 million was met in December of 2021. Praise the Lord! We are blessed that we met our initial goal so quickly. However, due to significant cost increases and supply chain issues, CAK found it necessary to adjust the goal. To date, our CAK community has generously pledged/given over $7.5M.

The money will be allocated toward the advancement of technology for academics and infrastructure, to establish an endowment for the purpose of making Christian education sustainable and affordable, and to build a Christian Life Center dedicated to the spiritual growth of our students as well as to enhance our ability to develop their creative talents to honor Christ in worship and artistic performance. It's an exciting time to be a Warrior!

Christian Life Center (CLC)

The Christian Life Center (CLC) will provide a place for weekly chapel services, collaborative meetings, and spiritual nurturing. The CLC will also serve as a place where students can discover and display their God-given talents. Its multi-use functionality will provide an auditorium for our students to showcase their performing and visual arts talents for the community.

Technology Advancements

We have committed $1.5M to enhance our technology offerings. The first major investment in our technology was the purchase of interactive smartboards for every classroom on campus.  These powerful devices aid in 21st-century learning by allowing teachers and students to learn collaboratively. Additionally, enhancements to CAK’s network infrastructure ensures that our students will have the connectivity needed for today’s competitive learning environment.

Endowment Fund

The CAK endowment fund builds on the vision of providing an affordable college preparatory education with a Christian worldview to the broadest range of Christian families in East Tennessee. CAK's endowment will help create a reliable and ongoing source of income for the school in perpetuity. A robust endowment will provide CAK with greater financial flexibility and a self-sustaining income stream that will grow over time. The Board of Trustees has approved and transferred an initial $500,000 from the campaign to our endowment. Along with prior endowment donations, this brings our total endowment to approximately $820,000.  The remaining funds from the campaign ($500,000) will be moved over the next two years, bringing our total to over $1M.
