An exciting partnership between CAK's digital media program, Warrior Network, and Full Sail University has been established!

The digital media program at Christian Academy of Knoxville has recently been named a Full Sail University High School Partnership Program for its emphasis on creative thinking and hands-on curricula encouraging students to pursue their dreams within the entertainment, media, arts, and technology industries.
The Full Sail University’s High School Partnership Program identifies and supports distinguished high school programs nationwide focused on career and technical pathways. All qualifying programs exhibit a focused curriculum track, utilize industry tools, demonstrate project-based learning, and are led by distinguished educators who encourage creative communities.

The digital media program at Christian Academy of Knoxville is a tier-based program that allows students the opportunity to not only gain a solid foundation in the industry but to be fully immersed in it from day one. Students complete the multi-year program having had hands-on experience with audio, advanced lighting, editing, multi-camera productions, newscasts, cinematic short films, podcasts, interviews, live event broadcasting through the Warrior Network, and much more. Leading the digital media program is Johnathan Sessoms who taught at Full Sail University for seven years as well as has over 15 years of experience working in the entertainment industry.

“I am beyond excited to merge two of my favorite places together and partner Full Sail University with CAK. Having taught there myself, I can see that we’re bringing something really special to our Digital Media Program through Full Sail’s outstanding industry-leading education.” says Sessoms.

CAK is thrilled to be partnering with Full Sail University by providing a pathway for our digital media students to further their education in this high-demand field.

A proud supporter of creativity throughout its over 40-year history, Full Sail University is dedicated to the encouragement and development of future generations of entertainment and media professionals. Therefore, graduates from CAK will qualify for a $15K Gateway Scholarship* for High School Seniors offered exclusively to High School Partnership Program students looking to further education at Full Sail University.

* Award recipients must also meet the University’s admission requirements in order to qualify. See the University’s Catalog for more information on the requirements for admission. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
