Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:4

From Kindergarten to 5th-grade students grow at a fast pace! The foundation set now is critical for a lifetime of learning and growth. At Christian Academy of Knoxville, our elementary school faculty and staff are committed Christians who seek to help students grow intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually. Our goal is to encourage students to develop self-discipline, seek high academic achievement, and become followers of Jesus Christ seeking to develop the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

CAK's elementary school facilities include classrooms equipped with Promethean boards and sound systems. The Bible is considered the core of the curriculum, which includes academically challenging daily lessons in language arts, math, science, and social studies.

Classes in art, music (including chorus, rhythm instruments, and recorder), physical education, computer, library, and health are provided weekly for all elementary students. Technology is integrated into the curriculum primarily in cooperative learning, small-group settings in Kindergarten and first grade. Digital literacy is more focused, intentional and personalized in grades 2-5.
