Message from the Athletic Director

The influence of a coach lasts forever – both the good and the bad. We want coaches at CAK who are passionate about being transformational in the lives of our students and showing them they are loved for who they are.

Some of Jesus’ final words to his disciples were to love one another. “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35).

Love must always come first in leadership. Our program is centered on the idea that every human being is infinitely valuable and loved by God. Every student-athlete that participates in CAK Athletics deserves to be cared for simply because they exist and NOT because they perform. There is no more flawed measure of a child’s value than their performance in sports. No matter what happens on a field they must know that they are loved.

MISSION: CAK Athletics exists to reach students through sports and teach them how to be young men and women who LOVE others.

VISION: To create and sustain an uncommon culture that attracts students to participate in a transformational athletic experience.

LOVE IS THE STANDARD. We have an acronym that we live by-

L = LEAD COURAGEOUSLY
O = OTHERS FIRST
V = VICTORY MINDSET
E = EMPATHY & EXCELLENCE

I look forward to partnering with our coaches, parents, and players as we live out LOVE IS THE STANDARD.

The best is yet to come,
Chad Speck

  • No Athlete Left Behind

    Junior, Sawyer Anderson, is taking on an incredible challenge for a great cause.

    For his capstone project, Sawyer, a member of our CAK football team, will walk for 24 hours straight on April 24th to raise money for No Athlete Left Behind, an organization that helps support Knoxville athletes.
    His goal is to raise $7,500, and he’s inviting the CAK community to be part of it!

    Come out to the track on April 24th at 8 am and walk a few laps with Sawyer to show your support. Every step helps make a difference for local athletes.

    Let’s rally behind Sawyer as he takes on this 24-hour challenge!
