Happy Teacher Tuesday! We love celebrating the teachers who make CAK such a special place to learn and grow.
Meet Mrs. Olivia Bullock, our CAK Band Director and Chair of the Arts Department! For the past six years, she has been pouring her love for music and her faith into her students.
“I chose to teach at CAK because I enjoy working at a school where I can share my faith and the love of Christ with my students,” Olivia says.
Olivia loves that she gets to teach the full band curriculum—from 5th-grade beginners all the way to high school seniors—watching them grow not only as musicians, but also as leaders and followers of Christ.
Music has always been a central part of her life, teaching her discipline, leadership, and responsibility. She says she can’t imagine life without it.
Outside of the band room, Olivia enjoys kayaking, reading, baking, and drinking coffee. She and her husband, Trevor (who also works at CAK), have been married for seven years. Together, they share their home with two cats, Winslow and Loki, and a Corgi named Bingo.
This year's festival will be held on Friday, October 17th, from 4-7 pm, right before CAK's Homecoming football game. Join us for an afternoon packed with fun - games, inflatables, jazzy jars, the Hat Buffet, cake walk, DJ, silent auction, food trucks, and so much more! After the festival, head over to the stadiums to cheer on the Warriors as they take on Grace Christian Academy.
If you're a grandparent or have a grandparent in your life who would like to be involved with CAK, we hope you'll join us at the inaugural meeting of the Legacy Warriors Grandparents Association.
The meeting will be held at 10 am on October 24th in the Christian Life Center on the CAK campus.
