• Bible Studies

  One of the most meaningful expressions of discipleship at CAK is the relationship between our high school and middle school students. Every other Wednesday morning, high school students lead small-group Bible studies for middle schoolers, creating opportunities to encourage, mentor, and walk alongside them in their faith. These intentional relationships help younger students see what it looks like to follow Christ while challenging our high school leaders to grow as disciple-makers. Through biblical discussion, prayer, and authentic community, students of all ages are encouraged to deepen their faith and build lasting Christ-centered friendships.

• Chapel

  Weekly chapel is a cornerstone of discipleship at CAK. From our youngest preschool students to our elementary, middle, and high school students, every division gathers each week to worship together, grow in God's Word, and be encouraged in their walk with Christ. Throughout the year, students hear biblical teaching from local pastors, guest speakers, faculty, and staff who faithfully point them to the truth of Scripture and the hope of the Gospel. These intentional times of corporate worship and biblical teaching help cultivate a Christ-centered community while challenging students to grow as lifelong disciples who love God, love others, and faithfully live out their faith.

• Connect Groups

  Connect Groups give middle and high school students an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with trusted parents and community leaders. Once a month, students meet in small groups to discuss recent chapel messages, ask questions, and talk through topics affecting teenagers today. These conversations provide encouragement, biblical guidance, and a supportive space for students to grow in their faith.

• Retreats

  Spiritual retreats provide students with dedicated time to step away from the routines of everyday life and focus on growing in their relationship with Christ and one another. Each fall, the entire high school community leaves campus for a school-wide spiritual retreat, where students and faculty worship together, build meaningful relationships, and begin the year with a shared focus on Christ.   Our eighth-grade students also participate in a spiritual retreat designed to strengthen their faith, encourage authentic community, and prepare them for the transition to high school. Check out the MS Retreat VIDEO!
  
  As a culmination of their elementary experience, fifth-grade students attend a three-day spiritual retreat that challenges them to deepen their walk with Christ while celebrating the end of their elementary years.
  
  These intentional experiences cultivate Christ-centered community, strengthen discipleship, and encourage students to live out their faith long after the retreat has ended.

• Spiritual Emphasis Week

  Spiritual Emphasis Week is a dedicated time each year for students to step away from their normal routines and intentionally focus on growing in their relationship with Christ. Every division, from Elementary to Middle School and High School, participates in a week of daily chapel services featuring guest speakers, local pastors, and Christ-centered teaching that challenges students to deepen their faith.
  
  

  For our middle and high school students, Spiritual Emphasis Week culminates in Serve Day, providing an opportunity to put their faith into action. High school students serve both on and off campus, partnering with local ministries and organizations such as Mission of Hope, KARM, food pantries, nursing homes, and area schools. These experiences remind students that discipleship extends beyond the classroom, equipping them to love their neighbors, serve with humility, and live out the Gospel in their communities.

• Teen Advisors

  Teen Advisors is one of the many ways discipleship comes to life through authentic relationships at CAK. This intentional mentoring program brings upperclassmen and underclassmen together to discuss the real-life challenges teenagers face, including academic pressure, friendships, family relationships, social media, identity, peer pressure, decision-making, and living out their faith in today's culture.

  
  By creating a safe and encouraging environment for honest conversations, Teen Advisors allows older students to invest in younger classmates by sharing their experiences, offering biblical encouragement, and pointing them toward Christ. These meaningful relationships help build a strong high school community while equipping both mentors and mentees to grow as faithful disciples and Christ-centered leaders.
