Faculty Spotlight- Lynn Whitehead
This week’s Teacher Tuesday spotlight is on Mrs. Lynn Whitehead, one of our wonderful 2nd-grade teachers!
Now in her second year at CAK, Mrs. Whitehead says God made the path to CAK very clear. She loves having the opportunity to teach her second graders through a gospel-centered curriculum while partnering with families who desire their children to be led with truth and grace.
When asked what she enjoys most about teaching at CAK, Mrs. Whitehead shared:
“We are here on mission, not just a job. From the beginning, I have also felt so cared for and known by our administrators. The support is such a gift, and I am so thankful.”
She especially appreciates the positive, fun-loving environment at CAK and the support and care she has received from her fellow teachers and administrators.
Mrs. Whitehead and her husband, Mark, have been married for 26 years and recently became empty nesters! They have three children and a new son-in-law. With the house a little quieter these days, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and learning to play mahjong. Although she admits she’s still working on that last one!
We are so thankful Mrs. Whitehead followed God’s path to CAK and for the love, joy, and truth she pours into our youngest Warriors each day!
