CAK Announces Travis Haynes as MS Assistant Principal
CAK is pleased to announce Travis Haynes as our new Middle School Assistant Principal.
Mr. Haynes comes to CAK with over 20 years of varied educational experiences as a mathematics teacher and administrator. His experience in mathematics education, technology integration, and mentoring other educators will bring value to our middle school. What struck us most about Travis was his love for Jesus and people.
When asked about why he was interested in CAK, he stated, “When I met with the CAK teachers and leadership team, I was energized by their love for Jesus and students. They have a deep desire to proclaim the Gospel in a rigorous academic setting, to build up each student's armor of God so that they are prepared for future challenges. I am extremely excited to be a part of the CAK team and can't wait to meet our families."
Travis and his family moved to East Tennessee last July from southern California. Travis is pictured with his wife, Shelli, and his daughters, Megan and Mandy. Their oldest daughter, Megan, just graduated from Gordon College near Boston and their youngest daughter, Mandy, attends Union University in Jackson, TN. They attend Praise Lutheran in Maryville.
