For the past two years, Missy Standifer has been serving CAK as the Director of Community Outreach and Special Events. This fall, her title will change slightly to Director of Community Outreach and Discipleship. In this new role, Standifer will be working alongside Director of Christian Life, Glen Davenport. Together, they will focus on fostering deeper and more authentic spiritual growth for students campus-wide. Specifically, Standifer will be developing an environment that fosters mentoring and discipleship among CAK’s student body.
"Throughout my time at CAK, nothing has brought me greater joy than planning events that bring people together and spending time with students,” says Standifer. “The thought of getting to spend my days connecting with kids and helping them to better connect with Jesus is a dream job for me! I can't wait to see what God has ahead for next year!"

Missy has been leading Bible studies for girls and women for over 25 years, and recently led the Freshman and Sophomore girls Bible study at CAK. She holds two Master’s degrees, one in English Education and one in Theological Studies.

Missy and her husband, English, have two children, Caleb (10th) and Noah (8th). The family attends First Baptist Concord.
