Knoxville, TN - Christian Academy of Knoxville is excited to announce Mrs. Lynette Fowler as our new Middle School Principal. With impressive experience in both middle school teaching and school administration as well as a heart for Christian education, Fowler will be taking over for Mr. Rich Fulford, who has been serving dual roles as CAK's Middle School Principal and Head of School since January.

"I am excited about Lynette Fowler serving in the role of middle school principal," says Fulford. "Our leadership team was immediately impressed with how personable and engaging Mrs. Fowler is. She brings charisma, a love of Jesus, and a passion for learning."

Fowler comes to Knoxville from Morristown's Cornerstone Christian Academy where she served as an assistant principal. Prior to her time at Cornerstone, Fowler taught 6th-grade science at Jefferson Middle School in Jefferson City, TN where she was awarded "Jefferson County Teacher of the Year."

"Her prior experience in Christian education will serve the students and families of CAK Middle School very well," Fulford adds.

"The moment I spoke to Rich over the phone, I knew CAK was special and it didn’t disappoint when I visited," says Fowler. "The faculty and staff are incredibly friendly and their relationship with Christ is evident. I am thrilled to join a school that has such high spiritual and academic standards."

Fowler holds a BS in Education from East Tennessee State University and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration from Liberty University.

During her spare time, Fowler, her husband, Jason, and daughter, Adeline, love spending time outdoors. You'll often find them tent camping in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For the past 8 years, they have been active members of Arrowhead Baptist Church in Morristown, TN. As they will be relocating to Knoxville, they are looking forward to a new adventure including seeking a new church home.

"As I prepare over the summer," adds Fowler, "I will be praying for the families and students of CAK. I excitedly await meeting everyone!"

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Lynette Fowler to CAK!
