CAK Home School

In 1988, just four years after home schooling became legal in Tennessee, Christian Academy of Knoxville launched its first Home School program.
By "extending its borders," the CAK Board hoped to reach a larger and more diverse cross-section of parents who desired a Christian education for their children. In an effort to maintain the integrity of all Christian education, our policies are designed to fully comply with the State of Tennessee home schooling laws and to reflect the excellence that bears the Christian Academy of Knoxville name. We recognize that God has given parents the primary responsibility for their children's education. Within that framework, the CAK Home School program sets guidelines
and standards for student achievement.
