From CAK's Head of School
Dear CAK community,
It was not too long ago when Pat Carroll called me and said these words, “The search committee would like to invite you to become the next Head of School at CAK.” I was stunned, overwhelmed, thrilled, grateful and, of course, ecstatic. What I could not do, though, was let him know any of that, so I just tried to act very professional and told him how honored I was, that I would talk with Pamela and get back to him soon. The rest is now history, and I simply cannot adequately express my excitement. I am so looking forward to getting started!
Here is the bottom line: I stand ready to continue the path of excellence that is clearly already in place at CAK. I think Scott Sandie and his administrative team have done an outstanding job over the past decade plus. It is so important that a Christian school like CAK stand out in a community as a place where striving to be your best is simply an assumed goal. As you get to know me in the days ahead, you will find out pretty quickly how much I believe in and have a passion for Christian schooling. I believe a school should always strive to be great in everything it does. We do not have to compromise in one area to be great in another. A school, and I believe CAK does this, should constantly strive to be great in academics, the arts, athletics and spiritual formation. The Lord expects nothing less from us!
We know the Lord clearly led us to CAK. We are following His lead, so my family stands ready to join the CAK community in its journey. While it seems like next summer is a long way off, it truly is not. Before you know it, the Neus will be a part of the CAK community. I sure hope you are ready for what the Lord has in store for all of us!!!! If the last 25 years is any indication, it will be a thrilling ride. See you soon.
For Christ and His Kingdom,
Bob (and the family too)
