From CAK's Head of School
Greetings from CAK!
I am so glad you chose to peruse our website. I hope you find what you need during your search. If for some reason you do not, let us know and we will get you the information you need!
The Board of Trustees recently adopted core values. Two of those core values are: 1) Place equal importance on excellent academic and spiritual development of students. 2) Promote a covenant partnership with Christian families to build authentic Christian community. To that end, amongst others, we have three commitments with our families:
- We strive to stretch and inspire all of our students to reach their academic potential.
- Though we are not a church, we do our best to mentor our students in the Christian faith.
- We do all of this in a Christ-centered community.
CAK exists to challenge our students’ minds. We believe it is our mandate from the Lord to be excellent in all we do. First and foremost, CAK is a school committed to the learning process. Our goal is to provide each family with a great Christian education. We believe a school can be both academically superior AND remain committed to the Christian faith. While this is definitely not easy to do, we strive to accomplish this in every classroom. Our teachers are outstanding at what they do.
Since we are unabashedly a Christian school, we strive to disciple our students in all we do. Our faculty and staff enjoy actively mentoring students where they are in their faith and watching them grow in their relationship with Christ. This attribute is noticeably interwoven into the fabric of the school.
CAK strives to be an intentional Christ-centered community. Please do not misunderstand me though. We are a school and do NOT want to replace the time families spend in corporate worship at church. We exist to stand beside our parents who are called to be the primary educators of their children in all areas; particularly their Christian upbringing. Overall, the expectation of the school is that parents model a personal pursuit of God marked by an upright character and regular church involvement.
While a website is a good place to start, by all means please come and see us. Our doors are always open! You will not regret your visit. In fact, I believe a visit is just what you need. Have a great day, and hope to see you soon!
For Christ and His Kingdom,
Head of School
