Can it really be the last week of school? Where has the year gone? Field day was a great day. Thanks to all the parents that volunteered or spent the morning helping me keep everyone safe and in the right place. This week we will continue with our learning as we wrap up the year. We will focus on Tennessee and frogs, my 2 favorite things. I will be sending home a packet on Friday that can be completed this summer. It is totally optional but will be a great way to stay sharp for second grade. I will also include a list of good websites or apps that the students will enjoy but learn as they have fun in the folder. I will also be sending home the workbooks with pages that can be completed. We do a lot of hands on learning and don't get all the pages completed during the year, so that is another thing they can use to stay on track. We still have time to meet our AR goals for this quarter. Please encourage your child to keep reading and meet their goal before Friday.
