Health services at Christian Academy of Knoxville are guided by the rules and requirements regulated
by the American Red Cross School Health Clinic program. The Clinic Coordinators and each school's
Principal oversee the medical needs pertinent to their grade levels.

The Elementary School clinic provides volunteers trained by the American Red Cross.

All medicated conditions stated at admissions and those which arise at any time during a student's
attendance at CAK will be evaluated on an individual basis as to the school's ability to meet the medical
needs of a student. An area is provided for self-administration or self-care to students with certain
medical conditions. A doctor's signed approval must be on file for any student needing medication
during school hours.

Authorization to Medicate Form (required for ALL medications taken at school)
Student Medical Form (required at the beginning of each school year)
