Prayer Ministry

CAK has multiple opportunities for students, parents and staff to gather in prayer. Our desire is to see hearts on fire for Jesus all over campus. The very idea of Christian Academy of Knoxville came into the hearts of parents who began to pray for a place for their children to have a Christian Education in Knoxville. CAK was founded on prayer.

PRAY CAK

PRAY CAK, a parent-led prayer ministry, is beginning its 10th year at CAK. In year's past, meetings were held on various places on campus and in homes to pray for all things CAK.

This year, PRAY CAK looks to expand its reach and participation by partnering with our new parent organization, Warrior PTA.  We hope to have parents involved representing each grade.

If you are looking for a way to powerfully make an enternal impact on your child, our school and the entire CAK family, come join us as we pray for all things CAK.  You can pray with us in person, or receive prayer requests by email and pray from wherever you are.  Sign up for our email list so you always know about gatherings and current prayer needs.

Huddle-up prayer

As our student athletes prepare for competition, each team is supported by a group of parents praying for the spiritual growth and health of their children in addition to their protection while they are participating. This prayer opportunity is completely parent led. If you are not sure of the parent volunteer leading this in your sport, contact Mary Zaczyk

Staff prayer

Faculty and staff feel called to CAK to educate and serve our families. An essential part of that calling finds its roots in prayer. It is a commitment of every staff member to come alongside our families in their spiritual walk. Staff gathers in Elementary, Middle and High School every day for a short time of prayer. There are also monthly prayer gatherings for all staff and prayer walks around campus.
