CAK is teaming with Medic Regional Blood Center to offer the chance for people to donate blood. The Knoxville area is experiencing a shortage right now, and we have a great opportunity to help our community. Medic provides life saving blood products to 29 hospitals in 23 counties across East Tennessee and Kentucky. Please consider giving blood to help Medic alleviate the shortage. For every one person that gives blood, up to three people will be helped. Donating blood can save the life of another individual. The blood drive will take place on April 9th from 8am-3:30 in the high school library and is open to anyone at CAK. Anyone 16 years and older can donate (students who are 16 need parents' permission and can pick up a form at the high school front desk).
