Christian Academy of Knoxville Middle School serves as a bridge for students in grades six through eight, between elementary and high school. Twenty-five full and part-time teachers are responsible for the middle school student’s educational program. The Middle School also has a guidance counselor, technology coordinator, and a full-time librarian.
Academic courses include Bible, Social Studies, Language Arts, Math, and Science. National standards are followed with biblical principles integrated throughout the curriculum. In addition, students rotate through classes of computer, foreign language (French and Spanish), music, and reading.
Physical education, health, band, and art classes are also included in the curriculum. Electives, such as Math Counts, Math Olympics, Middle School Musical Theatre, Middle School Singers, Bible Studies, Scholars bowl, Sports Leadership Training, Junior National Honor Society, Student Council, and Warrior TV are selected throughout the year.
Christian Academy of Knoxville Middle School is associated with various leagues and is determined through the athletic office. Students in grades six through eight compete in volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, football, cross-country, basketball, track, golf, and tennis.
Middle School teachers are experienced and aware of the challenges facing our teens today. The staff works diligently to guide and support our young people with a Christ-centered perspective during the challenging adolescent years.
